SUMMARY:Preparation for Practice Twilight Sessions (June 5th Session)
DESCRIPTION:The Teaching Partnership is delivering twilight sessions to support final year students on the BA in Social Work and MSW courses to prepare for practice and their ASYE. Sessions will be run by Social Workers in direct practice who can share their knowledge and skills. Sessions will be linked to the Knowledge and Skills Statements. DESCRIPTION:We are facilitating a FREE one day research development event for Teaching Partnership colleagues. Come and hear from Dr Rick Hood on the Nuffield research briefing ‘Demand management and the crisis in children’s social care’ and other representatives from our academic partner Kingston University as they reflect on the collaborative research projects being undertaken between practitioners and academics. You’ll also have the chance to shape the proposal of one research project\, as part of a workshop on team culture and supervision practices in statutory social work.
