Project Officer
Achieving for Children is seeking a dedicated and motivated Project Officer to join our Strategy and Programmes Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The Strategy and Programmes Team plays a key role in driving forward the organisation’s business planning, service redesign, and transformation projects. As a Project Officer, you will support a variety of projects, from implementing priority initiatives and developing project plans to monitoring progress and producing reports. You will collaborate with senior officers and colleagues across both business and frontline services, ensuring successful project delivery. Ideal candidates will have a background in project management, excellent communication skills, and an interest in children’s services.To excel in this role, you will have strong organisational abilities, experience in project management, and the ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders, including senior management and external partners. You should be able to effectively use data and evidence to inform decisions and contribute to the successful delivery of business plans and strategies. A passion for supporting children and young people and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
