Health Visitor

We are recruiting a Health Visitor for bank work. The salary for this role is equivalent to NHS Band 6. This would be to primarily undertake new birth contacts; however, there may be a requirement to cover other aspects of the service as needed.The Health Visiting Service is responsible for delivering the Healthy Child Programme to families in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) and forms part of the Early Help Offer for the 0 to 19 age group. Health visitors are based in one of two localities but will be required to work across the whole borough as the need is required.The health Visiting service is provided by Achieving for Children, which is a social enterprise company also responsible for the provision of early help and social care services across RBWM. The health visiting team work out of the family hubs and have positive working relationships with our colleagues in the family hub and social care.Achieving for Children as an organisation has a strong ethos for staff training and development and staff wellbeing is a high priority. There are options for flexible working within the needs of the service.*Please note this role is a Zero hour contract
