The post provides a link coordinator for schools to help them support families who are considering elective home education.Achieving for Children continually reviews its structure and business practices in order to provide the best possible services for children, young people and their families, in the most effective and efficient way. As a result, the key tasks in any job profile may be varied.The post holder will be responsible for the coordination of Elective Home Education across Windsor & Maidenhead. The post holder will be the main contact for families who are electively home educating their children.The post holder will:Ensure that all referrals are dealt with efficiently and effectively and the safety and welfare of the child is considered at all timesensure that parents/carers are aware of their rights and responsibilities as home educatorsbe the main point of contact for Gypsy Roma and Traveller families, ensuring that they are given appropriate informationensure practice and procedures are up to date with national developments and revise procedures in line with DFE guidanceconsult and advise schools with guidance around elective home educationmanage individual case files, ensuring all relevant information is up to datePlease note: The salary shown is Full time equivalent and will be pro-rated to Term Time Only.
