We’re celebrating an OUTSTANDING achievement across all areas in our latest Ofsted inspection (December 2024) and now, we’re looking for social workers to help build on this success.Ofsted praised our leadership, saying: “Leaders have created an environment where staff feel valued, respected, and supported.” If you’re looking for a workplace where you can thrive, grow, and truly make a difference, this is your opportunity!Apply today and be part of our success: We are offering a £3,000 annual market supplement for this role. Being a SHiFT GuideBe the social worker you trained to be.As a SHiFT Guide, you’ll have the conditions to practise social work in the way it was meant to be done; relationally, thoughtfully and with the time and support to make a real difference.Work with fewer children, for longer. Guides hold a maximum caseload of six children, enabling intensive work and deeper relationships.You won’t do this work alone. Reflective supervision, team problem-solving spaces and strong peer support are central to SHiFT practice.Respond quickly to children’s needs. Guides have access to a dedicated child resource budget to create meaningful opportunities and experiences.Put systemic practice into action. Work across systems to advocate for children and challenge the structures that shape their lives.Be part of a wider movement. SHiFT is working nationally to transform youth justice and social care.
