To find out more click here.Residential Therapeutic Intervention Worker & Edge of Care Outreach Worker | Full time | £32,535 – £33,987 pa | Sleep in allowance | Shift work across 7 days a week, over the full year including Christmas, New Year and other bank holidaysAchieving for Children (AfC) is opening a third children’s home whilst also developing our outreach services to children and young people on the edge of care. Therefore we are now looking to recruit workers who are attracted to a role which will include both working within a children’s home setting and offering outreach support to children in the community. We are excited to announce the opening of a new home in Surbiton, offering a range of exciting opportunities to join our team. Come and be part of our pioneering residential and edge of care outreach service which will involve working across different sites including Old Windsor, Teddington and Surbiton. You’ll be working alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and keeping children within their families wherever possible. There will be opportunities for growth and development within this team whilst contributing to our ongoing work supporting children and families.*Please note the following important information before applying:This role requires shift work across all 7 days of the week, throughout the full year, including Christmas, New Year and other bank holidays.The role includes sleep-in duties. A sleep-in allowance is paid where applicable.Due to the nature of working in Children’s Homes, enhanced vetting is required. This includes reviewing your full employment history from the point you left school.This post will be based across provider services in Windsor, Teddington and Surbiton children’s homes.
