Residential Worker – Children's Home – Across Services (Casual)

We look after up to five children aged 10-17 years who have experienced significant trauma in their early lives. Providing therapeutic day to day care of children and young people that is grounded firmly within the Secure Base model.The young people we look after have experienced significant trauma which requires high levels of compassion, empathy, resilience and understanding and we have a responsibility to make them feel safe and cared for. This role requires shift work across 7 days a week over the full year, including Christmas, New Year and other bank holidays. There is a sleep in requirement and waking night shifts which you will receive a sleep in allowance for.This is a casual position.
