Social Worker – Children in Care

The Children in Care and Care Leaving Service provides assessment, care planning and ongoing support for children and young people aged 0–18, including Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children, who are in the care of the Local Authority. The service is responsible for delivering high-quality care and placements for some of our most vulnerable children and young people, ensuring their safety, stability and wellbeing.We also support care leavers aged 16–25, helping young people including Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children to develop the skills, confidence and resilience needed to live fulfilling and independent lives. Our commitment to strong practice and positive outcomes was recognised by Ofsted, who rated our Windsor and Maidenhead services as Good.This is a 12-month fixed-term position offering hybrid working, with a minimum of two days per week in the office and the remaining time working from home, providing flexibility while maintaining strong team collaboration and service delivery.
