SEND Tribunal & Mediation Manager

As a Tribunal Manager, you’ll lead a multidisciplinary team, representing the local authority in SEND appeals and mediations, and working with legal teams to secure positive outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You’ll be responsible for refining internal processes, proactively resolving issues to prevent escalations, and advocating for children and young people with SEND. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of SEND legislation (including the Children & Families Act, Children Act, and Equalities Act) and strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with families, even during difficult periods.
