A huge ‘Congratulations’ to Farrukh!
We are delighted to announce that Farrukh Akhtar, course leader on our partner Kingston University’s BA in Social Work degree, has been awarded with a prestigious National Teaching Fellowship.
During her time at Kingston University, Farrukh has led a number of innovative projects that have championed the development of an inclusive and transformative curriculum, increased soft skills and contributed to a sense of community around the University, for staff and students alike. “Students now face all sorts of challenges. I feel strongly about them getting the most out of their time here,” Ms Akhtar said.
We are privileged to work with the passionate and dedicated Farrukh on a number of Teaching Partnership initiatives, and will be thinking of her as she collects her award in Manchester on 16 October!
