Family Hub Community Coordinator Assistant

Achieving for Children’s Family Hubs sit within the Early Intervention and Community Service, within the Family and Adolescents Directorate. The Family Hubs aim to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people by providing physical and virtual spaces where families can easily access information and advice and a joined up support they need from different services to help them deal with the challenges they are facing. The offer at each hub will be developed in response to local needs, incorporating the views of children and families and will be delivered with a range of AfC team and partners.The hubs are essential in delivering the Early Help agenda, providing access to information, advice, guidance and support on child development, parenting skills, healthy lifestyles and keeping safe.We have an exciting opportunity to join an organisation that is focused on providing the very best service to our children, young people and Community Users.  In the role you will be working as part of the Family Hub Community Team.  You will need to meet and greet and receive members of the public and professionals entering the Family hub dealing with signposting, enquiries and incidents as they occur.  The role is for 10 hours per week during Term Time and will be mainly weekend and evening work and will involve some lone working. Please note the salary shown is Full time equivalent will be pro-rated accordingly to part time and term time only.
