Finance Officer

Achieving for Children’s (AfC) Business Services Directorate provides a suite of valued support services that are tailored to the needs of a successful children’s services organisation. The finance team sits within the Business Services Directorate, providing the company with the financial information, support and expertise it needs. The Finance Officer is responsible for providing financial support to the Finance Team. There will be a focus on services that are funded by the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) but also supporting the management accountants in other areas including Children’s Social Care.  Within Schools Finance, the role includes supporting colleagues in maintaining mechanisms for calculating and distributing funding to schools including money received by schools for Individual Schools Budgets and High Needs funding.
