To find out more click here.If you would like to be part of our success story, take a look at the below opportunity to see if it’s the right fit for you.The Head of Information Governance and Policy will manage all activity relating to the implementation of and compliance with UK Data Protection legislation, they will be the registered Data Protection Officer. The postholder will manage a small team of Information Governance Officers and work with children services colleagues and partners to ensure that Achieving for Children effectively manages and protects the information of the children, young people and families it works with. They will also commission the writing and coordination of corporate policies to make sure that they are accurate, current and meaningful.The Head of Information Governance and Policy oversee data breach investigations, implementing IG training, advising on data protection policy, information security, communicating with the customers, managing IG complaints. They will prepare reports for the public, internal management groups and council commissioners. They will liaise with the Information Commissioner’s office and London wide IG groups.
