Occupational Therapist – Full Time / Part Time Opportunities
This is a flexible opportunity, with the option to work full-time (37 hours) or part-time as part of a job share (18.5 hours each). The Children and Young People Disability Service (CYPDS) in Windsor and Maidenhead. This multi-professional service supports children and young people aged 0-25 with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).The role involves working closely with families to assess occupational therapy needs in home settings. Responsibilities include:Hospital discharge planningAssessments for adaptations (e.g., Disabled Facilities Grant)Sourcing equipment (e.g., seating, bath aids)Housing-related support (e.g., risk assessments, letters for house moves)Safety assessments, manual handling, and EHCP reportingThe Occupational Therapist will ensure assessments prioritize the child’s voice, involve the family where appropriate, and focus on maximizing independence through equipment provision and accessible home adaptations.Please note the salary advertised is full time equivalent and will be pro rata for part time workers.
