We look after up to five children aged 10-17 years who have experienced significant trauma in their early lives. Providing therapeutic day to day care of children and young people that is grounded firmly within the Secure Base model.The young people we look after have experienced significant trauma which requires high levels of compassion, empathy, resilience and understanding and we have a responsibility to make them feel safe and cared for. *Please note the following important information before applying:This role requires shift work across all 7 days of the week, throughout the full year, including Christmas, New Year and other bank holidays.The role includes sleep-in duties and waking night shifts. A sleep-in allowance is paid where applicable.This is a casual position.Due to the nature of working in Children’s Homes, enhanced vetting is required.
