SEND Mediation, Resolution and Tribunals Officer

This role will work within the Senior Leadership Team within the SEND Team and key stakeholders, including parents, School Leaders and other professionals.The role will involve representing AFC at informal and formal mediation with families driven by  solution focused practice. You will also represent the AFC at SENDIST Tribunal Hearings, including the preparatory work with key stakeholders and families. A key feature of the role is to provide solution focused thinking and creativity to overcome challenges. The work is extremely relationship based and requires excellent interpersonal skills. They will also work closely with our SENDIASS team and other voluntary sector groups to hear feedback, understand local issues and to resolve concerns at the earliest opportunity. You will be required to travel across both Kingston and Richmond Boroughs to visit schools, other education settings and/or other locations as required.
