Social Work Team Manager – Duty & Assessment

The Duty and Assessment Team sits within Children’s Social Care’s Support and Safeguarding Service at Achieving for Children, based across Windsor and Maidenhead, both proudly rated Good by Ofsted. The team works at the front door of children’s services, supporting families through referrals, assessments, child in need and child protection work, including early court action where required, with a strong focus on partnership working and early intervention.As Team Manager, you will provide confident operational leadership across the service, supporting the Head of Service and managing Assistant Team Managers and a Family Support Worker. You will ensure high-quality practice, strong oversight and positive outcomes for children and families, while developing a supportive, high-performing team culture and championing excellent social work practice.
