Transition Social Worker (Youth Voice)

As part of the new Transitions Team, we have the opportunity to offer a 1 year fixed term contract as a Transition Social Worker (Youth Voice), sitting within the SEND Service in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.This role is one that may be of interest to someone with a background in Social care, working directly with young people who have SEND needs. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with outstanding communication skills and a compassionate manner. The post holder will ensure that the outcomes for disabled children and young people and those with Special Educational Needs are maximised by working to improve a young persons’; quality of life, school absences, social care needs, personal autonomy and involvement in further education and employment, independent living and community inclusion. We encourage applications from candidates with experience in adult or children’s social care and those passionate about young people’s transition to adulthood.
