Vacancy: Safeguarding Adults Senior Social Worker, Merton Adults Social Care
Merton Adults Services is looking for a registered Advanced Social Work practitioner that is motivated to assist in the day to day running of the Safeguarding & DoLS Team under the advice and guidance of the Team Manager, and to carry out the statutory duties of the Local Authority.
The position is within the Adult Social Care services, and is located in the Safeguarding & DoLS Team
Experience in either Adult’s Services or a multi-disciplinary setting would be desirable, and you will need to be able to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the Care Act and safeguarding duties process, and other relevant Adult Social Care Legislation. You will also need to have 2 years post qualification experience as well as being a Best Interest Assessor. It is important that you are passionate about safeguarding and making safeguarding personal (MSP). Having supervisory experience is also advantageous but training will be provided.
